Cold, isn't it!
David Jenkins - 25/2/16 at 06:11 PM

Went out for a blast today, seeing as it was sunny and dry... my, wasn't it cold! About 5C in the shade.

I'd put on my 12v heated gloves, so my hands were reasonably cozy, but my face was freezing! I thing I'll be wearing my helmet next time out...

Great drive though - my car really loves cold air.

Bunch of whimps! Try sitting in a plane with no door at 10,000 feet when there's snow on the ground and the temperature is minus 38 , can't remember if the was C or F but roughly the same.

My car's now over 10 years old and, whenever possible, I've driven it during the winter. I usually keep to when it's dry, the roads have been dry for several days, and the puddles have all gone. There isn't a lot of salt around as East Anglia has seen very little snow and ice this year; there is some, but not much gets over the car if I choose the right days to drive.
