Sena - Intercom

When I am driving the 7 or my bike I use a Scala Rider Intercom which is great for the GPS and keeping in touch with my Mrs should we get split up at the lights or something or generally getting told its time to stop for a cup o tea

Has anybody tried these from Sena for trips without wearing a helmet or the rally style head phones?
