Hill climb and sprint weekend

Just had a very busy weekend - Hill climb yesterday at Harewood, Sprint at Elvington.

Had best ever time at Harewood beating the 70 seconds for the first time

JoelP had a look in and we had a good natter.

Had a few problems at Elvington today with some instant silicone gasket getting into the fuel pump and causing fuel shortages at turn 2 and on to the end of the course. took me both practise runs before I got that one cured.

Managed a full power run and then another 2,5 seconds faster.

Third run was somewhat hampered by a couple of marker cones stuck under the front left suspension after getting the line slightly wrong on the final bend

The best bit was Jacko, Sonic and Tim coming along in their (very nice) Indys to lend their support - thanks for coming guys and nice to be able to put more faces to names on here.

Got 2 more days at Harewood in Sept 16th & 17th - should be good if the weather holds.....

I gather that there are some javelin track days in Sept at Elvington. Maybe I'll pop along for some practise before the next Elvington sprint.....

Cheers

Mark

77.25 was my best run - plenty of room for improvement there though
