can you paint exhaust wrap?

fitted some black exhaust wrap a while back and after a few times out its slowly turned to a patchy white colour.can this be painted back to black? if so whats the best paint to use

Uht paint was recommended by the supplier of my wrap
They advised me to paint it when it was fitted to protect it from weathering and keep moisture out
Never did though - and it went white like yours

I suggested BBQ paint.
Matte, black, locost.

B&Q do BBQ paint in black or silver £6.95 per tin, used it on my exhaust lasted well.

I used black VHT. Worked perfect. And lasted.
