One of the things that took me a long time on my original build was splicing the Ford steering column wiring, and the SVA requirements (handbrake and brake fluid level) into the Kawasaki wiring loom.

Then some idiot (me) did some post SVA modifications, such as a fan override switch, relocated the fuel pump and added a load of gauges, and an alarm / immobiliser.

The result isn't pretty, and no longer works. As I'm stripping the kawa engine out, and going with an MX5 power train, I don't fancy splicing that engine loom into the existing rats nest.

So, I'm thinking about a complete re-wire.

But as ever, I'm tying to stick to the locost budget, and am tempted by the "12-14 circuit universal hot rod wiring loom" for about £48 on ebay.

It looks quite similar to the one that's on Car Builder Solutions for £90?

Has anyone used either of these?

I'm using the CBS pre wired one, Very simple when you have crossed out everything on the diagram that you don't need.

Even a electrical disaster like me managed to sort it out.

It’s pretty easy to make your own. The likes of CBS do wire bundles of around 10 or 12 colours.
