Seat

Any idea on what the best and most economical seat for racing is and where / how much is it.

Anyone got an old one you're not using and want to sell in the Bucks, W/london Berks area

Thanks for the info

I've seen them around the £70 mark for the basic fibre glass shape. I have also seen the much cheeper approach that uses bin liners and a canister of expanding foam.

What's the budegt?

I've been told to go for a Tillet Kart seat (see Tweeks P313), although I reckon the ride will be well harsh, since your bum will be 1/16" off the floor

That's the price you pay to be 'one with the car' - I mean what's the odd spinal injury hear and there

I got mine from a wrecked Caterham race car - solid, tight-fitting and a real filling loosener over any kind of bumps.

But it was only £25, so I can spend the money I saved on chiropractor fees.
