That’s great and much nearer than Stonleigh.

I need to get my finger out.

Why is it that people on FB assume the whole bleeding world is. Godawful site to try and look at anything with FB banners in your face all the time / rant over

Looks interesting apart from that!

Couldn't agree more. I can't for the life of me see the reason to have to negotiate an extra layer of social media packaging to reveal a site. Rant will probably continue.

Oh and Santa Pod may be closer than Stoneleigh for some.......

However, good to see another event in the offing.

Michael.

The organising club is facebook based, so I assume thats why the main details are there, for now. They are working with CKC though, so should get decent coverage in the mag.

it is on the same weekend as a public race day and the retro show retro

It will be a full on petrolhead weekend

also agree it needs it's own webpage that isn't locked inside FB

I went for a brief trial of FB, simply because the Championship I run the car in has all the competitors on there. After so much junk coming my way and not having anywhere near enough time to sit there and 'socialise' I ended the experience soon after.

This weekend looks absolutely superb, as a lot of the 'Pods weekend are. I'll be there, the only caveat being a clash with the (as yet) unpublished calendar.

Great mix of vehicles and fun.

However, a caveat, I didn't wait to see pricing, but I bet it won't be cheap to get in. On the plus side, for those that might be interested, their IS a public right of way from Souldrop to Hinwick that runs right across the start line of Santapod race way that no one can stop you using, security is NOT HAPPY about people using, but there is nothing they can do about it, so long as you stay on the path and keep moving. And of course you can go back again.

On the other side, it's a lot further than Stoneleigh for some people.

Looks to be combined with the Retro Show, no bad thing as there's some interesting cars there normally and less idiots than shows like USC seem to attract.
