Front top wishbone help

hi all i have the first roadster book coming along well but come to one of those moments with the front top wishbones is i fit as book long tube to front drag link facing up i have restricted movement binds 3/4 up but if i have the link facing down it has full movement am i having a blond moment

Post a pic, it might show what's happening. What is binding, is it the ball joint itself?

I do remember when I first started putting mine together it also looked wrong while pointing up, then I realised I'd not wound it in at all, and I had the most obscene positive camber!

Many thanks all sorted for other users what it was was 2 things the first the mushroom was a quarter a turn out facing the split and not the front but the main reason was the shocks they are 13.5" open the extra travel made it bind even though i relocated the mounts a bit but not a problem will just use an 1" helper spring
