Rear wheel arch infill plates CP11

My haynes roadster chassis is very nearly completed but I have left the rear wheel arch infill plates CP11 off as have heard of rear wheel arches being different sizes (duameters), is this true? Or should I be safe enough fitting the plates?

If it ain't broken, fix it anyway (just because).

Have you got a photo of your car with the wheel arches in place without the infill plates? (Has your car got a GRP body that is effectively filling in that gap or does the arches not extend that far?)

Can anyone help? Have you fitted CP11 (rear arch infill panels) and not had the rear arches fit right?
