Chassis

Could someone with good chassis knowledge of a 7, or who knows about fair bit or has quailifications reguarding triangulation and stuff, u2u me, got something i need to ask off forum.

This is when i was building in 2006





and this is it at MNR - with engine and stuff in (all the weight)





If you worried about the rosejoints, they are all wound in showing a few mm of thread now and the bottom wishbones are level.

It bothers me that the tubes join so far away from the inboard rose joint, putting a bending load onto the tube

And they don't look all that ' aesthetically pleasing'.....

Why did the kit designer not cut the extra bits of tubes off, engineering wise don’t seem to serve a purpose?

Not sure a precut lenght i suppose, plus it helps at IVA when the guy cant get his plunger in

Surely no manufacturer would sell a set of wishbones like those in the pictures, would they?

My local 'agricultural engineer' would make more elegantly.
