Zetec Engine Mounts

I am in the process of building mounts using 3mm plate bolted to the engine and welded to 2" square 3mm wall tubing down to the chassis (where is sits on a rubber mount). What I am wondering is if 3mm plate for the engine flange is enough, or if I should be using something like 6mm plate?

Thanks,
Shaun

Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

Well, it looks like 3mm has been used successfully.

Onward!
