Putting some breaks together and not to sure what the nuts are. i am gussing that the cut and notch in them are somthing to do with heat or locking and that the flat side should go aginst the break disk. Can aybody help?

Which drive shaft ends are you using and how do you tighten the hub nut up? I'm doing something very similar on my Sprite and have been wandering how to best cut the CV cups off.

It's called a Binx nut for anyone that might be interested.

Brilliant! Thanks for that. Is there a hex or flat on the back of the stub axle/driveshaft end? They look about as cut down as I was going to do mine, but I've been debating how to then tighten the hub nut up without the brakes.
