IIRC my 2.0 Pinto'd Indy weighed 600kg with a tank of fuel, but no driver. It's fair to say it was the fastest accelerating car I've owned, fast enough to induce a little panic now and then. The Pinto was freshly built and carb fed with no tuning applied. More power would have loosened the back end a bit more.

Glad to see it going well. Danny hasn't bother replying to me since I had my car back from him in November. I have text him 4 times and emailed him, got friedns to speak to him, rang him (no answer of course).

He charged me for a radiator fan and throttle cable I supplied to him, fitted my clutch wrong, charged me over £700 for an exhaust that is costing me 25bhp (on my S2000 engined car) and I TOLD HIM to use a 4-1 collector I gave him...he didn't. He also stole my clutch, flywheel, gearlever and wire meshing for vents, lost my rear boot panel (said he'd replace it of course, but hasn't), fitted my new clutch incorrectly (no grease on the input shaft so it sticks), didn't bother tightening the oil cooler pipes.

I have also seen another car that recently come back from him and the mess he made of that! I had to get the welder out to finish the coolant pipes that were leaking but I'll leave that for the owner to tell you.

I would never get MK to do anything again TBH. I paid them over £3200 and they have done an awful job leaving me to get 80% of what they did redone not to mention the bits replaced that they have lost.

My advice to you is to DEFINITELY NOT PAY DANNY until you are 100%sure everything is there and working because he'll tell you a load of BS about just needs this and I'll send you that and will NOT do any of it once he has your money.

Maybe I'll have gotten through to someone then. Short of a 2.5 hour drive over, I have tried everything else.

Sean's a nice guy and would help anyone out if he thought he was the cause. On this occasion it's nothing to do with him or his company and your issue is with mk Sportscars.
I've always found Danny spot on as well.but have obviously read a few negative comments on here over recent years! Hopefully you can resolve the problem and if a 2.5 hour drive can sort it then that's what I'd do!
