Is an MK Indy a book chassis?

Im aware there are detail differences like the curved engine bay rails, but top and front rail dimensions where the bodywork goes on, are they as the book? Particularly, are the top and bottom chassis rails 13 inches apart?

Nope. It's still 42" outside to outside.

But as Donut says it has a narrower tunnel (possible bacause it has IRS) which means you get more cockpit space.

Cheers,
James
