Front anti roll bar pics anyone got some..

Hi going to fit a front anti roll bar on my Mk and just wanted a couple of pictures of bars already fitted please, anyone got one or two ??

My MK/caterham front anti roll bar fitment is now complete and working just need to get it out and try the difference

Adjustable rose jointed as well lol...

Here you go Steve mate, hope they are ok for you fella......

Caterham anti roll bar Green spec inc bushes and CSR mounting brackets

Welded mounting points into front corners of front hoop section

Bar mounted complete with rose jointed drop links, and radiator mounts trimmed round anti roll bar

Top mounting to anti roll bar

Drop link mounted to shocker lower mounting and nose cone refitted and trimmed round bar.


Total cost was below

£25 second hand new roll bar
£35 CSR mounting brackets
£60 Rose joints and turn buckle bars
£10 Misc nuts and bolts washers etc
£48 Anodised top mounts to bar

Welded paltes in myself so that bit was free so in all £178 dont know if thats cheap but its done now

not tried it in anger yet as my car aint road going but did have a wee blast and its defo flater round the bends so far..

Nice one for posting pics!

I wasn't actually asking for myself, mostly joking cos you'd said you'd done it

I've already fitted all the ARB mounts to Tim's Locost chassis, but I don't have photos of them fitted to post for you earlier as I hadn't/haven't made the actual ARB's

Perhaps not much help, but the front ARB mounts on the chassis can be seen 'ere!
