What Lsd do I need for my Westy 1.6 CVH with type 9 box?

What Lsd do I need for my Westy 1.6 CVH with type 9 box?

I know it has a Sierra diff in it at the moment but it's an open diff.

What are people's recommendation for ratio?

What do I need to get?

Sorry for noobish question!

Pop in a 4x4 Sierra LSD is the cheap option, they go for around £250 on eBay, your driveshafts may not match so get the full beam.

What are you using it for and do you know the current ratio? Might help folks on here point you in the right direction

If your mainly on the road the Sierra viscous LSD is fine
I prefer the 3.9 ratio with a type 9
I have just fitted an ATB in a 3.9 but not fully tested it yet
I need to add that the 3.9 diff complete with fitted Quaife ATB was only £350 so not much more than a Viscous diff, I was lucky

I eat to survive
I drink to forget
I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)

Will be Road / Track Car

I'm use to a Mech LSD on previous cars so that's what I'm really after.

Will have a look under the car and see what I can find later and report.

Thanks
