Zetec / ST170 flywheel / clutch wanted....

Picking up an ST170 engine to try in the Quantum shortly.
Just wondered if anyone has a suitable flywheel sat about doing nowt?
Popular options seem to be the CVH EFi or 1.8 Zetec ones.
A 220mm clutch in good order would be a bonus

PS I'm planning to use the cars current gearbox that's bolted to a 1.4 CVH currently.

I may have a new or nearly new 220mm clutch, I’ll dig around the garage after work.

I am guessing you are using the Bc or Ib5 gearbox ? These lighter duty boxes have a smaller first motion shaft so you can't use the clutch used by others on a t9. With the power of the st I would do some home work on the Escort Rs turbo clutches. But you may get away with a standard clutch set up from a 1.6 / 1.8 zetec escort but not the 130ps spec that had the 2.0 fly and clutch to go with the mtx75.

The efi cvh flywheel is very rare and came in fwd and rwd sizes. I would stick to a Zetec E 1.8. You're less likey to pick up the wrong one.

Casesensetive on the MEV forum has done some great work on documenting all required wiring to get the st170 running on the standard ecu. I'm currently using this to get my engine wired up.

Looks correct. Easy way to tell is a big chamfer on the top outside edge but it’s a bit hard to see in that photo.

From previous comments it sounds like the centre plate might not be right for my FWD box (smaller splined input shaft compared to type 9). So, depends how much it is?

Probably not if it's from a type 9

Not sure if the inlet manifold will fit in my car yet, but hopefully I'll be able to run it as Ford intended. If not it'll be bike carbs and some sort of ign.

Chamfer from the clutch face towards the ring gear? Looks like it on the 3rd picture.
