Caterham doors on an Indy

I have a slim chance of getting hold of some Caterham doors and was wondering how then would fit if using a full screen. It's not the fittings so much as the general fit of the doors i.e. will they be well out or look like they were made for the job?

Anyone fitted any to an MK?

I think they would be very short front to back( they wouldn't reach the wheel arch), there was some Westfield doors on Ebay the other day ,they are longer.

I made some up because nothing from anything else seemed to fit.

They don't do much for the looks (mine or the cars) and they do make the car feel cramped, but they do make motorway driving a lot better.

Blimey does'nt anyone work on a Friday?

Shortie: Oh ha ha very funny

Zetec: Humph..looks like i'll have to either make some or get blown to bits.

Someone on Ebay was selling those deflectors that you get on Cobras, i wonder how effective they are?

Andy we could sort some out if theres a market for a few sets at least. We had alot of people intrested but they became less interested when you gave them costs. Its the hinges that cost six quid each from brasscraft.......then you have the lexan and labour on top. Some turkey on ebay asks fifty quid just for the lexan bits and the are too short. search Howmuch under my user name and it may still be there.

Could be worth doing. If you do do them please please please put in the arm rests like on the carteham, we need somewhere to put our elbows!! It will feel less cramped too!

No i'm never happy.....well not untill the Cobra (or GT40) is sitting in my garage!!

It would be interesting to see how that template compares to the Indy profile. When i have some bodywork on i'll have to get you to come round with it.

Have you done any work yet?
