attaching scuttle to battery tray without it looking dodgey

Morning

How have you guys attached the battery tray fibreglass piece to the car and the scuttle as I was thinking of using button head set screws but the car is black and I'm sure it'll end up looking like something out of the blue oyster bar :-D
Also what paint can you use on bare fibreglass? The top edge of the battery try is bare finish and stands out like a sore thumb when next to the scuttle.

Any picture links much appreciated
