Tube for wishbone poly bushes

In the book it says the tube on the ends of the wishbones are 35mm x 26.5mm, is this correct? Can not find it anywhere exactly this size

Use haynes roadsters pre made tubes from ebay and just buy matching polybushes. The tube for this is 33.7mm OD with 3mm wall bored out to 28.5mm on a lathe. This tubing is also used as industrial hand railing.

Sounds a plan, we got loads of lengths of that in our yard as we manufacture handrails :-) I think the Haynes bushes are cheaper too

Sorry mate didnt realise you were on about a tiger avon, just assumed you were on with a haynes but the haynes book states 33.7mm od, 2.6mm wall and 35mm long

Like tallon said you can use 3mm wall and rough bore on a lathe, hope this helps you out

I ordered some of this tube from steeltubedirect but they seem to have sent 2mm wall thickness, I needed 2.6 but they are arguing that what they sent is correct, I'm sure I need a bore between 28.5 and 29mm ?
