Tiger Avon Kit For Sale

Hey everyone,

Thinking of selling my project as I need money to fund my engine project. It will mean I don't have anything to test the engine in, but getting the machining costs are spiralling so need to prioritise sadly.

The kit is a Tiger Avon which comes with wishbones, cortina hubs and brakes at the front and Sierra hubs, shafts and drum setup at the back (one drum missing). I also bought a pair of brackets to enable converting to mx5 rear disks but haven't bought disks/calliper as yet. The wishbones and chassis could do with a bit of touching up where the paint/powdercoat has chipped.

Also included are as 4 as new dampers/springs, a pair of cobra roadster 7 seats in excellent condition, a used type 9 box, shortened propshaft and rear diff which would all need checking before use. There is also a used steering rack with alloy mounts, used master cylinder and Sierra loom which I don't have any information on. A set of 15" alloy wheels are also included but the tyres would need replacing as they are quite old now.

There is also a set of well used Westfield SEI bodywork (less front wings) which I bought to fit but haven't got that far yet. I cut the side sections off just in front of the rear arches but these would easily bond back on. The body is all straight and usable but would benefit from work if somebody was looking for showroom finish.

I'd like to see my money back which is £1500 but realise it's an unfinished kit which isn't registered so please let me know if you are interested.

I've not got any pictures as yet as I've not been out to the garage to take any. Once I have pictures I'll repost in the for sale section.

All located in Weston Super Mare, Somseret.

Nice one, I fitted an Eaton M45 to my old car and all the hassle was well worth it once I experienced the supercharger whine and Torque!
