Front braided brake hose (Avon)

Hi all.
I want to get a pair of braided flexible brakepipes made up for the front (Cortina M16) calipers.
What length do I need per side and what fitting do I need at caliper end? (don't think I have correct rubber ones to use as a pattern.)
Any pics would also be useful.

Andy.

can you not use a piece of rubber hose to find out or are you at that stage?

the fittings are just the normal male cone type.
