Its with the mapping guy now Dave.

Am in Paris for a couple of days now but hope its ready for when i return with a nice healthy BHP figure to suit

Well its back now from the mapping session at Noble Motorsport(Darren) in Chesterfield and am happy to report a very healthy gain

Dave you weren`t far out mate,255 bhp at 8050rpm

You should have said last night, i could have took you.

But that said i heard a bang on the way there.

I looked when i got to Fox house but couldnt see anything.

As it happens i had cracked the sump!!

Sump coming off tomorrow night for some welding

I hit the sump about 4 times just on the Strines.

Gotta sort the ride height.

Difference is that mines cast alloy and your is steel mate, they last for ages.

Finally managed to get past the magic 260 mark on the rollers.

Came back from a mapping session with Darren at DWR Performance of Chesterfiled with a meaty 262bhp.


DWR PERFORMANCE

Darren has been at this for 18 years now and cant come highly recommended enough in my eyes.
He is big into mapping/rebuilding EVO's but still has time to map n/a old school stuff like mine.
Car is now singing and am well pleased to say the least.

Just need my brakes to be singing along with it now so its off to Mark and Colin at MAC1 tomorrow for upgrades before Oulton next Friday

This is the 3rd revamp of this engine after different failures but its running different cam timing now and gained most of it from that.
