oil pressure sender

I've just bought a oil pressure gauge, where is the best place to locate the oil pressure sender on a 893 fireblade

Where the existing switch resides, on a plug that screws in under the clutch housing.

You will probally need to replace this with a flexi house (braided brake flexi) as its all a bit tight under there.
