Since then, i have spent another £8k. Shocked me when i added it up. But that includes a full engine rebuild at £4k, new cooling at £1k, then £3k on diff, exhxust, drive shafts, guages, rempaps, blah blah.

I'll try and answer any questions, but I am not builder, or technically proficient. That is one of reasons it is going - I want something easier to look after.
