AB Performance/Aries Motorsport Press release

Press release

They say you can't please all the people all the time ........ but we are going to give it a go.
As a direct result of our association with Aries Motorsport, over the next year our companies will be expanding our range of cars to offer additional formats of our already familiar bike engined weapons.
The Arion S2 bike engined race car and S2R road variant will be joined by the S3 and S3R powered by a turbocharged, dry sumped, 300 bhp, 300 ft/lb Ford Ecoboost unit mounted to a Sadev 6 speed sequential box.
Some of you will have seen this amazingly compact unit at the recent Autosport Show.
Install will feature stand alone MBE management with integrated canbus dash and options for both launch and traction control.
To further increase the range available the Arions will be joined by a new Seven bodied version in both road and track trim.
and the icing on the cake - both Arion and Seven cars will sit alongside the already familiar Sabre G2 mid engined, bike powered car which will be further complimented later in the year by the Sabre G3 equipped with the same Ecoboost engine as the S3 cars
In bringing out these additional models we hope to be able to offer something for those wanting bike power, car power, front engined, mid engined and in LMP, Full body or Seven body formats
Key to these exciting new developments is the appointment of Aries Motorsport as official UK dealer for both Arion and Seven cars from AB Performance in a move that we feel will benefit not only AB Performance and Aries Motorsport but also our ever growing customer base.

Eco Boost is the 1.6 unit and will be mated to a sadev in the front engined cars and a hewland in the mid engine set up. We have some ground to cover but the first front engine set up is built up and ready to install in a slightly modded Arion chassis, mid engine will follow later in the year.
We hope to have a number of the cars at the Stoneleigh show this year and I will keep everyone posted on progress although someone else will have to post my pictures for me as I am crap at that sort of thing 😀
It doesn't feel like leaving my roots just a natural progression to explore other areas - anyway we're just building the chassis and I will make someone else bolt the engine in so it doesn't count 😂
Regards to all and will keep you posted
