BEC exhaust silencer packing

Anyone used this?:

Sounds really good and I need to re-pack the MK silencer on my 'blade engined Roadster.

I bought a can off 907 and after about 1,000 miles it got really noisy. Opened it up and all the packing had disappeared. So I bought this

from Car Builder Solutions. I've done another 4,000 miles since. Opened the can up yesterday to see what was inside, and apart from being filled with soot, it was still tightly packed, the wire wool was in place and it still seemed perfect.

May need to replace!

Anyone recognise this silencer? Is it pretty much a normal standard "off the shelf" item?
