Reverse, mechanical or electric?

What is the best way of getting reverse.

1.Mechanical

is expensive and if it brakes u loose all drive

2. Electric

is cheaper but how relaible are they and how powerful

Other option is non at all but can i get SVA with out reverse.

You don't need reverse for SVA. I'm not bothering, too expensive and I'd rather spend the moeny elsewhere, no exactly heavy to push back either...If it drives me nuts I'll retro fit one later.
