Fireblade Temp Sensor / gauges

Evenin all.

Can anyone help??? I have beer

I want to buy a nice new temp gauge, to match my nice new speedo and tacho, but the numbers I got from the man at honda seem odd...

10 Ohms @ 120 deg C

and

45 Ohms @ 80 deg C.

While the helpfull fella at Greengauges says such devices usually worked the opposite way. i.e. higher resistance at *lower* temps.

Their gauges are used to:

10 Ohms @ 30 deg C

and

180 Ohms @ 110 deg C.

From the sensor.

Can anyone shed a little light???

TIA

Mark
