Damn, was about to bid and realised that my drone based piano moving business meant that I wasn't allowed to,...

Perhaps the nice man from Angola who keeps promising me $30,000,000 could bid on my behalf as he assures me that he has never moved a piano!

Great stuff I wish more cars were listed honestly, instead of the normal B/S , good luck to the guy.

My Dad had an Ital pickup many years ago - still dislikes the lingering memory of it

They're the automotive equivalent of licking a 9v battery. However, the fact that it's been up Goodwood makes me howl.

I'm still mulling over the thought that it can produce under- & oversteer - simultaneously?????

Work-in-Progress: Changed to Zetec + T9. Trying to sort out carbs.

Brilliant.

We had an electric blue Ital, 1.7 I believe, with black vinyl roof. At the time I thought it was great (after the maroon Marina!).

I had the pleasure of driving an ital van, mud gaurds rubbing on the ground when cornering although it was pretty awful compared the to Bedford HA van that preceded it it was quiet and comfortable

Its different, its not ugly, nor attractive, and as an estate car has more of a purpose

I bet the insurance would be cheap for a 17 yr old as well, as its a classic, ish

I actually quite like it, but would I buy it?

NO

I had one of these, it was the Morris Marina (saloon) its predecessor with a 1.8L engine. The only good thing about that car was the engine. I had every problem it was possible to have with a car. The paint literally fell off in sheets. I was going around a corner one day and the half shaft came out of the diff. It was quite perky in a straight line but cornering was a real driving experience. The over steer in the wet was big time scary. I had to carry two bags of sand in the boot all winter in case I got stuck, the traction in ice and snow was non existent (no limited slip). I shudder at the thought of owning one again.

It's prone to some unnerving understeer in dry weather and somewhat surprising oversteer in the wet. Sometimes both at the same time.

I laughed quite a bit
