Chassis plans for single seater?
sylva_phoenix - 12/7/15 at 11:39 AM

Hi a friend of mine is keen to build a single seater for sprints/slalom events. Does anyone know where I can obtain plans for a chassis? Don't mind paying for drawings but free is always good!

Thanks
Laurence

I've been looking for something like the terrapin but a bit more up to date for a while now

You could always look at the Reynard Inverter and modify the design to a single-seater layout?

How competitive does your friend want to be? There are some pretty specialist single seaters running in Hills & Sprints, these days: finding free plans for something 'state of the art', and then building it at home, would be challenging, I think.

If you are looking for something state-of-the-art, then U2U me.

I've just bought the terrapin book and the plans are available.

Do you want me to forward the info?

Martin Keenan had a single seater a few years back, very helpful and knowledgeable person. ( mk engineering).
