Anyone interested in a K-series turbo manifold

Is any one interested in a turbo manifold for a Kseries engine?
Designed for the MGF these are tighter to the block than the O/E ones fitted to the original Kseries turbo in the MGZT.

There seems to be a level of interest for turbo conversions on our MGs at the moment, so I have enquired at BBR GTi for their MGF/TF turbo exhaust manifold. Initial inquiries suggested that they had some castings left over, but it seems not.

This is their most recent response:

Hi Rob, thanks for your valued enquiry and interest,
Sincere apologies for our delayed reply, following a unit move last year it required a large search to sort though our castings. Unfortunately we have no k-series castings available, we do still have our pattern should there be further interest we may consider casting a low quantity batch of manifolds but not at this time.

So I have speculatively suggested that I would gauge the level of interest, and asked them how many orders they'd need to justify casting some fresh manifolds.

Let me know if you are interested in one! Just interest at this time - I have no idea what they'd cost, so no commitment needed at this time

Personally I'm not interested, I am currently going from tubby to nasp in my toy, just trying to help a mate.

I'm sure there will be interest, but it really will depend on cost.

I have a TF and a complete K series turbo in the garage for this very conversion and will be making a manifold from Schedule 40. I'm not up to date on prices but I doubt I'll be spending more the £50 on materials (though there will be a time investment on my part).

Cheers

Simon

Would do, but I have to register and I won't do that to see one item. Site needs to change viewing rules I'm afraid.
