on my type 9 box finding reverse and 5th gear hard/will not go in it has a gear selector extension do i need 2 Rail Clip Saddle? only have one at gear stick end at the moment

I have the saddle at the gear stick only. It's been working perfectly for 2 years now.

The only reason I can see for 2 saddles would be if for some strange reason the remote linkage rod fits above the gearbox extension? If the remote linkage fits directly onto the selector rod below the extension you only need 1. I have in the past seen them fitted incorrectly , rotated around the selector and they do wear

fit second saddle clip a lot better but still no 5th gear but not to bothered about that at the mo
