Anyone got the dims of the Velocity nosecone?

Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a velocity nosecone from Luego to fit my +4" wider Locost. As I am fitting a Rover V8 engine, the extra height should be advantageous.

However, Luego can't supply me with any drawings (basic dims only required) so that I can check suitability before ordering. Is anyone in a position to give me a sketch of the critical dimensions of the nosecone and the top rails where it meets them? Also, I need to know exactly how high the nosecone is from the top chassis rails.

Obviously I don't want to spend £100 only to find that it's a nightmare to fit. By the way, I know that the nosecone will need to be widened to suit my chassis but I want to check that this is all I need to do.

Cheers,
Craig.

Height above chassis rails approx. 9.25 inches, 235mm

Width at rear of nosecone 680mm

Width at front of LA & LB 565mm

Along top chassis rail, rear of nosecone 305mm from front (ie the separation of the two, above, width dimensions, measured along J1 or J2)

Fits McSorley 442 OK.

Any clarification or other dims, U2U me

Cheers

John

John,
Thanks for the reply.
I'll need to havea think about this and do some measurements on my chassis but I'll get back to you to confirm anything which I don't understand.

Thanks again,
Craig.
