Were to get a propshaft made or repaired ?

The front bearing on my propshaft has some play in it, and as its out of the car at the moment, needs to be fixed

My local place that makes and repairs propshafts etc, is unable to do the job, as he can not get a new reverse sleeve for the gearbox end as unfortunately, it seems that the joints I have are sealed, and non repairable, and the circlip type was never made for my gearbox/axle combination (well, that's what ive been told !)

I am running a type 2 ford gearbox, 16 splines 30 mm shaft and an Ford Atlas axle

Has anyone, either got a prop shaft I can buy, that will fit the ends ? or a place were I can get one made ?

steve

Hi Steve,

I got one made from scratch from a guy not too far from us... I'll go and check where it was!

Its the front bearing that is the problem, as unavailable
