MX5 Running Gear in Champion Roadster

Hi guys,
Anyone ever used a mx5 donor for a Ron Champion Roadster was there alot of modification?

I’ve not seen it done on champion Locost but it’s been done loads on the Haynes. IMHO it’s better and lighter than the Sierra running gear. The main pain in the arse is the diff mounts.

The rear top arms are very short on the Haynes with mx5. Gbs chop the arms of the diff to make it work.
