Was that the 'colgate' roller recently advertised on PH?

angliamotorsport - 17/5/11 at 04:45 PM

yep, but I think it is better without the toothpaste, might try seabond or steradent, I'm a more mature driver.

Might provide better grip when cornering

Very nice! Nearly bought it myself. Was it not set-up for a Mitsi engine instead of the traditional CVH?

The guy had started but got as far as two brackets welded on in five years. The car came with one or two bits to help
with the mounting of the cvh engine. The gearchange mechanism looks to be a bit tricky.

Originally it ran with an xr3i engine and was dry sumped, so that is something I have to investigate.

I had better get my finger out as I have an entry for the Tros Marets hillclimb in belgium and also Etretat in France.

Plan is to have the engine chipped, fit a different actuator etc, and hope to get about 170bhp with this first stage,
then just see how it goes.

also got some better wheels, set of dry slicks and some wets.

Have not got a clue as to how it will perform as I have run bike powered cars until now.
