Welding Gas Free Cylinder Rental

I've come across but not used the deal offered by Air Liquide.

http://albeegascylinders.com/albee-flame.html

I haven't checked prices but imagine the gas will be more expensive than BOC but it might be of interest.

ArgonCO2 11lt bottle works out at over £140 for the initial purchase ,you buy the bottle but it does have a "regulator"fitted. Adamsgas bottles work out a lot cheaper and you only pay a refundable deposit on the bottles. One of our local motor factors supply welding gas's , not sure if it is Adams gas but around the same price

I have adams gas, only thing to watch is they fill to a lower pressure.

Good news, they now do 20litre bottles, swapped my smaller argon out last week for a 20litre and it pushes the gauge all the way around.

Got a brochure for Albee in front of me, Argon CO2 (15%) L11 gives approx 3hr 33 mins welding time and costs £147.50 plus VAT, you also have to buy a connector which is another £11.66 plus VAT .

welding gas

I use Wellington welding in Avonmouth. I have a Hobbyweld bottle with argon/co2. £50 refundable deposit + vat, about £30 for gas. Refilled each time to 2000 psi. Obviously you need correct regulator. No contract, no rental, no problem. Give the bottle back, get your deposit back. I think they do deliveries too.

What sort of money do you pay with adams gas?, i'm on contract with energas.
Have a bottle of pure argon and a bottle of 5% mix, both full size W 85 litre.
i Hardly use them now and am sick of paying the rental charges.
