Fuel Tanks

Can you use a plastic fuel tank in the race car, has anyone tried this, cost, advantages and disadvantages ?

The only reg I can find is

5.15. FUEL TANK / FUEL

5.15.1 Types: Fuel tanks are free but safety tanks are recommended. A non-return valve must be incorporated in the vent system.


So I guess it's ok.
Advantage over steel would be weight , and over ali it would be cheaper.
