Rolling Road in Devon/Cornwall

I collected the Phoenix from Mark Shillaber at SRD in Launceston this morning and I have to say how impressed I am with the job he has done. Mark rebuilt my engine and so I had complete confidence in giving him the task of setting it up.

The upgraded ECU was completely remapped and the difference is incredible. The engine starts and ticks over beautifully and the power just keeps coming in ever increasing amounts. Mark took his time in getting it absolutely right and hung on to the car for an extra day just to check the cold starting. I am really pleased with what he has done and at a very reasonable cost too.

Incidentally, this was my very first drive of the car on the road. I trailered it there. I'll try to attach a photo and apologise that the car is very dirty having been in and around Mark's workshop for the last ten days.

John

P.S Mark specialises in building Pinto engines for short circuit racing and told me that he had done 20 last month.

Sounds good, I may pop my car there rather than Alan jefferies tuning who managed to make my car fail the SVA first time as they snapped the float inside my carbs and forgot to tell me!

Totally agree with both above posts. One to avoid like the plague and one to recommend.

It's Cornwall (again) but Richards Bros have a damn good (single roller) road and the intelligence to use it. No connection, I'm just a satisfied customer.

You are right and he's a very good peddler too. He told me he got FTD at Porlock with an all steel crossflow in a Fiesta beating a 6R4 in the run-off. Very brave as well.
