Build manuals/Building guides.

Greetings all.

Just wondering if anyone has got or taken a look at this..

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1859606369/locostbuilder-21

Im a beginner and this weather recently is leaving me wishing id have bought a locost last summer. however now im serious about it but could really do with gettin some more knowledge about building kits. What are peoples thoughts on this book? is it helpful and if not has anyone got any others they would recommend checking out?..

All comments appreciated.

Thanks

£99!

That's the original book, and based on a mark2 escort iirc. Those parts are going to be a little "rocking horse poo" these days..

This book is almost the same, based on Sierra gear (getting a bit rare now aren't they?)

My build is halfway through the "clearing the garage" stage so I can't comment further

ditto using the second book based on the sierra as it's a better car all round than an old live axle car

Fame is when your old car is plastered all over the internet
