Smoking Duratec

Here is my Duratec...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yapc3M4fRYM&feature=youtu.be

It's running on an MS3 at idle I've got the AFR at 14.5 and its looking not to bad, but as soon as I increase the revs....wait for the smoke.....

On the video it is running lean at this point, but I've also run it ritcher and I'm still smoking.....

Any suggestions to help my diagnosis greatly appreciated...

Thanks
Ian

Over fueling is black, oil is blue

Before worrying I would give it a good thrashing to free up rings and blow away any residual oil then try again.

Could be oil in the cylinders. which could be potentially bad! could be piston rings or valve head. Hopefully not damaged bores...

But it just looks like its not breathing well. Clogged intake.. check the carb also.

Tbh to be thats alot of smoke so id be thinking an oil leak into the combustion. Check timing first.if thats ok then check oil leak into exhaust then youd b talking about possibly having to replace the head gasket and then the deeper stuff...

Have you taken any breathers to the inlet ? take your plugs out and check for oil on them. How was the engine stores it may have been on its side allowing oil into the bores

Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone
