ok, so I know the input shaft is not actually part of the box, but part of the prop-shaft.....
I'll be ordering a prop-shaft sometime soon and I need to know the diameter of the input shaft to fit a type 9 box. I think it's 35mm, but would like
confirmation from those more knowledgeable out there. Also, does anyone know how many splines it should have on it?
Cheers for any and all info
I know I'm not answering your question, but...
...when I bought my propshaft from Autoprop all he wanted to know was the type of box (type 9), the diameter of the differential flange (the Escort
used 2 sizes), and the distance between the end of the gearbox and the flange.
Everything else he worked out from his own knowledge (and it fitted, first time).
