Brakes- rear pressure reduction

So whats the best way to do this? I could use the thingy from the sierra but it looks a bit heath robinson when its piped up. I know Novas (not because I own one!!) have a valve that screws in to the master cylinder but I dont think it will fit into the sierra one. Any ideas people?

Cheers
Graham

I've just tralled through old posts and found about the fiesta valve, sounds like the nova one but will fit the sierra master cylinder. Correct?

I'm using the fiat uno bias valve, its adjustable so can be set at SVA.
Merlin makes a bracket for them as seen on his archive, and theconrodkid has one on his car which went through SVA.

The sierra valve is VERY sensitive to mounting andgle as its using a ball rolling with inertia.

You can use one from a mini. www.minispares.com have an adjustable one from about 35 quid. its apparently possible to mod a std one but i dont know how much they cost.

If you do have it adjustable at sva they will insist its made permanenly un adjustable before they pass it.

As i dont expect to pass first go, will use the sva to get it set and fix the position before the retest.

Have a look on merlins archive, there is a pic of bracket he made for me.
You can basically mount it anywhere inline,i'm putting mine on bulkhead above M/C.
Line in line out and bolt in top to adjust pressure.
If i get hold of a digital camera i'll take a pic,or i'll see if someone else can take a picture of their's.

forgot to mention the mini valve isnt metric.

however, all you need to do is get a nut fitting that suits - the piping and ends are always the same, in fact metric uses 3/16 piping.

Uno valve sounds interesting tho..
