Using Aftermarket Dampers

Evenin' folks,

Looking for a bit of a steer regarding the suitability of using a set of dampers that I have.

The manufacturers original-eqiupment and non-adjustable damper lengths were:

Front Open 364 mm Closed 261mm

Rear Open 398 mm Closed 283 mm

The aftermarket shocks I have are are adjustable for height and rate and they emasure:

Front Open 357mm Closed 275mm

Rear Open 417 Closed 317mm

These measurements are all metal-to-metal. I guess I could trim the bump-stops to give me more length?

The vehicles have a similar weight distribution, so the valving should be fine.

Any thoughts about the likelihood of them working out?

Cheers
