brake calipers

hi all
looking for some help .. i am after updating my brake calipers from the standard m16 to some wilwood 4 pot's at the moment i have the standard m16 escort single piston calipers .. but i am not sure of the type i need as my car is fitted with converted escort struts but i don't know if they are from a mk1 or mk2 escort is there anyway i can find the difference from mk1 and mk2 strut's or are they the same calipers the disc are 250mm diamiters by 13mm thick solid disc's any help would be gratefully accsepted thanks

Check the calliper mounting bolts , I suspect that MK 1 maybe a UNF thread possibly 7/16”? and MK2 possibly 12mm ?

Aye Mk1 defo 7/16, and pretty sure Mk2 are 12mm





I thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, but it was just someone with a torch bringing me more stuff to do
