as above taken my off to get them repowder coated do i need to strenghtened see a few people on here that have do it is there any point if so how sould it be done

What car ? what wishbones front / rear And most of all what modifications have you seen to strengthen them please
Will i need mine doing ?

Done mine with 19mm square box section,welded on the inside edges of the 19mm round tube and underneath the cresent base plate that the lower shock mounted is on, does not look as nice as they did when the were first made and chromed but at least i know they should not bend now. No pics at present, but if any one is interested i will take some and try to remember how to post on here.Thought it was better than having to make the whole lot again.

i've posted 2 pics in my photo achive ( at the bottom ), sure someone will be along to tell me what i've done wrong.
I understood that the tubes bend where the cresent meets them.
Mine's a escort rear axle so no need for this on the back, did consider doing a spare set of wishbones out of the oval tubes but not got round to it yet a not sure where to get it.

Thought the cressent wishbones were ok. thought the issue was when you had a straight line between the two wishbones (like mine). I keep thinking of adding a cresent into mine before i paint them. Have i got this wrong?
