Yes this is the best Forum for Ron Champion Locost questions. Just select the best category for the questions you wish to ask. i.e. chassis, electrics, IVA etc, etc.

I can see his point

As the forum has grown it's a bit unclear.
If I understand correctly the RC "Locost" per se is split into the different categories for Chassis, Doner, running gear etc

The Luego-Locost is exactly that, alng with the other Manufacturer specific models

Shoot me down?

have a quick search first someone may have asked already.
if not ask away theres many helpfull and knowledgeable people on here (+ a few sarcastic ones)

Well the engine and parts we currently have from a Ford pick up truck. The engine is a 2L pinto + accessories. Im hoping this will be good to use

Hi

We cant really use a bike engine, as all the parts we currently have all fit in with the Pinto engine model. I much prefer bike engines my self though, Much more into bikes too!. Dad isnt though

If the Pinto is there, use it.

Once your car has been built to use a Pinto, anything else you might to fit down the road will go in there, no problem.

The Pinto will make it go briskly enough.

Be aware that if the engine and gearbox are both from the P100, the ratios in the box are not really suited to these cars.

Yes.... But the gearbox can be changed very easily at a later date, as can the engine.
I am assuming its a Type 9, so would be a Nut n Bolt change <simples chk>

Also on a historical note, I believe that Luego made the chassis's for Rons company, but that was a very very long time ago.
