Capri Pedal box

Hello,

I have taken the complete pedal assembly out of my capri and offered it up to my chassis.
The pedals are attached to like a pressed steel mounting bracket which is large and heavy which I am going to attack with my hacksaw and angle grinder and shape a bit with hammer and pliers and drill a few holes to fit it to tubes q and p.
Has anyone fit this pedal assembly to a locost?
Info much appreciated.
With the assembly clamped into the best position the go go pedal is about 20mm clear from the chassis diagonal is this ok?
I could imagine getting your toes stuck bettween the pedal and underneath TR4 diagonal very dangerous.

I found it easier to just use the pedals(cut down) and the pivot bar, make your own brackets to take the pivot otherwise they are too big to fit in the small space of your footwell

I've got hold of a very nice lightweight one from the breakers from an old Micra. Is there any reason not to just mount it as a complete unit sticking up out of the footwell? It would just seem a lot easier than starting to hack it about....

I used the complete Sierra p/box - sticking above chassis per Jasper's comment. Will need to make box to cover with to complete the "firewall"

Pedals will need a litlle hacking to get them in the correct place.
