Looking for an alternative brass two-way brake union
Howdo folks,
I'm looking for a two way brake union that will bolt to the chassis.
The only one I've ever seen is
this one
which is a hard to find VW beetle part.
I was wondering if anyone makes an aftermarket alternative. I've tried all the search terms I can think of and can't find one.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You might want to re-check the link chap. It just gives a list of parts on the page

3way with a bleed nipple in the spare port????

I'd use something like 3/8 UNF FEMALE CONNECTOR ( 2 WAY ) JOINER BRAKE PIPE MALE NUT NUTS UNION BPN30 and a P clip?

yep, messed up the link.
mookaloid you are right, that's the sort I'm looking for, as per below:
if I can't find a reliable supply of them, my alternative is as mentioned by scimjim a standard connector and a couple of P-clips but this would
make a neater solution as I already have a 3 way feeding the front like this:
...and its always nice when things match, especially when only the builder knows its there!
I'm going to call the VW people to see if they're 3/8 or 10mm (either of which would be great) and not some weird size - I don't
know VW stuff very well!

I agree with omega 24 v6, T-piece with a bleed nipple or blanking cap.

I do like the idea of a t-piece with a blanking cap or bleed nipple (preferably the latter if it would make it functional when bleeding the brakes) as
I could buy a T piece to match the front and I'll never have hassle in buying a replacement if I need a new one.
However I'm embarassed to say I don't know what to use to fill the gap.... 
where can I find an appripriate bleed nipple? Would it just screw into the union (safely)? or would I need to have some sort of brake fitting in there
as an adaptor?
Alternatively, if I was to use a blanking plug, is it just a case of finding a bolt that fits the hole or can you buy dedicated bungs?
bit nervous when it comes to brakes, so my apologies for the simple questions.

sorry - do you mean that the 'blanking plug' is a standard part or that the two way union shown in the pictures is a standard part?
Either way I'm struggling to find examples of either online.

P.S.
The three way unions I have are 3/8" Unf x 24tpi - could I just screw a similar bleed nipple straight into the unwanted port - is this the done
thing?

If you really to bolt it to the chassis just use a standard brake pipe male to male joiner and a P Clip round it.
Fairly obviously any VW will have M10 metric threads

If your going to use a blanking plug then do it properly. Some after market master cylinders come with blanking plugs to block off unused ports, it
might be worth checking your local motor factors for them . I keep some for blanking of brake pipes/hoses when changing brake pipes they have the
correct seat to seal against a brake fitting. As others have already suggested a bleed nipple would do the job and do it safely a ball bearing is an
unsafe bodge and if spotted an automatic MOT failure
